LOCAL DEFIBRILLATORS & BLEED KITS

Ditchingham Parish Council has installed two bleed kits in the village as part of its commitment to community safety. A bleed kit contains specialist first aid equipment designed to help control severe bleeding in the event of an accident or emergency until professional medical help arrives. In rural areas, where ambulance response times may be longer, having a kit available can make a vital difference and could help to save a life. Parishioners are encouraged to familiarise themselves with its location so it can be accessed quickly if ever needed.

The defibrillators and bleed kits are located below and show users what to do:

  • Broome Village Hall, Sun Road – Defibrillator
    Located by the entrance doorway to Broome Village Hall.
  • Ditchingham Store, 37 Loddon Road – Defibrillator & Bleed Kit
    The cabinet code can be obtained from shop staff or by dialling 999.
  • Ditchingham Village Hall, Loddon Road – Defibrillator & Bleed Kit
    Located outside Ditchingham Village Hall, the code to open the cabinet can be obtained by dialling 999.
  • Etude Coffee, Unit 2, The Silo, Pirnhow St, Ditchingham NR35 2RU
    Located in a locked cabinet attached to the office building directly in front of the Silo.
  • Black Dog Running Club, Pirnhow Street – Defibrillator
    The cabinet is located under the entry canopy to the left of the door Numbered 1.
  • The Maltings Pavilion, Pirnhow Street – Defibrillator
    Bungay Football Club have one available inside by the bar – this is only available when the Pavilion is open.
